The most famous of the Cub Scout derbies, the Pinewood Derby is the annual model car race held by most every Pack across the US - and Pack 551 is no exception. The Derby is open to all of our Scouts who, with the help of parents, build cars from pine blocks, the official BSA kits. The Pinewood Derby began in 1953, and has had at least one film made of it, as well as at least one inappropriate award. For Pack 551, it's all about the fun!
